Shopify development, end to end.
One team for every surface of the platform. Below is what we actually build, the stack we build it on, and what you get when we're done.
Custom Shopify Themes
Bespoke Online Store 2.0 themes, built from a blank file rather than a marketplace download.
We build themes around how your team merchandises: sections everywhere, flexible blocks, metafield-driven content and an editor your marketers can use without calling a developer.
- Online Store 2.0 architecture — sections, blocks and app blocks
- Metafield and metaobject content modelling
- Performance budgets with Core Web Vitals monitoring
Sections
Headless & Hydrogen
Hydrogen, or a custom framework build on infrastructure you already control.
Headless is the right call when you need a bespoke front end, multi-brand routing or content from systems Shopify doesn't own. We'll tell you honestly when it isn't worth it.
- Hydrogen 2 storefronts deployed to Oxygen
- Custom React Router, Remix or Next.js builds
- Storefront API and Customer Account API integration
Public & Custom Apps
Apps for the Shopify App Store, and private apps built for one merchant.
We've taken our own apps through Shopify's review process twice, so we know what passes. We proudly build and host on Gadget — it handles OAuth, webhooks, data and infrastructure out of the box, so our time goes into the product rather than the plumbing. Embedded admin UI in Polaris, billing done properly, webhooks that survive replays.
- Public App Store apps, from submission to approval
- Custom and private apps for a single store or Plus org
- Embedded admin UI with Polaris and App Bridge
Extensions & Functions
Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions — the supported way to customise checkout.
Checkout.liquid is gone. We build the same customisations with extensions and Functions, so they survive upgrades and stay eligible for Shopify's checkout guarantees.
- Checkout UI extensions for Plus and non-Plus stores
- Discount Functions — tiered, bundled and conditional logic
- Delivery and payment customisation Functions
Email & Lifecycle Templates
Transactional notifications and campaign templates that render everywhere.
Shopify's default notification emails are plain. We rebuild them on brand, then extend into lifecycle flows in whichever ESP you run.
- All 30+ Shopify notification templates, rebranded
- Responsive MJML component libraries
- Klaviyo and Mailchimp template systems
Integrations & Migrations
Connect Shopify to the systems that run the business — or move onto Shopify entirely.
ERP, PIM, 3PL, subscriptions and marketplaces. We build the middleware, handle rate limits and reconciliation, and make failures visible instead of silent.
- ERP, PIM and 3PL integrations with retry and reconciliation
- Replatforming from Magento, WooCommerce or BigCommerce
- Catalogue, customer and order history migration

Questions we get asked
Yes. Most of what we build — themes, apps, Functions, checkout UI extensions — works on any Shopify plan. A few checkout capabilities are Plus-only, and we'll flag those during discovery rather than after you've signed.
Often, yes. We start with a paid audit of the existing code so we can tell you honestly whether it's worth continuing or rebuilding. You get that assessment in writing either way.
With checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions. They're the supported path, they survive platform upgrades, and they keep you eligible for Shopify's checkout guarantees.
Yes. All client work is delivered to your repository under your ownership, with no licensing strings. Our public apps are the only exception — those stay ours.
Typically two to four weeks for a new project, depending on the size of the build. Support retainers can usually start inside a week.
